Route # 1 Eagles Route - Beginners
This is a great Intro ride to Off Road (Jeep Track) mountain biking. The descent through Doi Suthep National Park presents you with great views of the Mae Ping Valley below, amazing forest landscapes which makes this Trip one of the most scenic and popular Mountain Bike Rides in Chiang Mai and all without traffic..
National forest and plantation access jeep tracks with ruts, rock gardens, mud and sand traps, besides a few steep down hills sections, great for beginners and Nature lovers.

Route # 2 Highlander's Route - Moderate
Doi Suthep Park at its finest includes National Forest and plantation access on dirt roads, over some rock gardens through mud and sand traps. Then some steep down hills, turning into single track completely unused by vehicular traffic and a long steep uphill. Very rewarding if you are in top shape.
Some ride, some walk but the whole idea is to have fun. A 200 year old bamboo grove greets us at the top, where a lengthy and well deserved break is taken.
The hill tribe village at the end of the forest trail brings us back to civilization. Then once in the Mae Sa Valley we enjoy a beautiful winding paved road downhill all the way to our favorite eating spot near Wat Ampawan.

Route # 3 Old Smuggler's Route - Difficult
Traversing and climbing along the remote mountain tops of the National Park, you will enjoy these scenic rides with a challenging downhill section into the Mae Ping and Sa Moeng Valley. Heading downhill you reach the route west into the next valley. Fantastic forest riding with great views from open plantations, are followed by a break at a refreshing mountain creek. With only short steep up hills we wind our way across the valley, past small farm houses while witnessing the local hill tribes in there natural environment.
