Overnight Visit at Elephant Nature Park - 2 Days 1 night

An introductory orientation video and talk where you can learn all about the herd and the park is followed by a healthy lunch of fresh local produce then watch the elephants bathe in the river that borders the park. Discover how to communicate with them and learn with trained staff. Observe the herd at play and watch them interact in each of their social groups. Full dinner at the park and accommodation at park huts.
Itinerary
After breakfast you can go on an elephant walk to see the elephants roaming in the open pasture.
Upon returning to the Park with the elephants you get to feed and bathe the herd. You will soon begin to identify different elephants by their shape, markings and attitude. Observe and enjoy the communications and interactions between these highly intelligent and loving herd elephants.
Dinner and lunches at the park are casual affairs, the focus being on high quality locally grown produce prepared in Western and Eastern styles. The range on offer will suit all diets from vegetarian to Halal.
Accommodation for overnight visitors are traditional bamboo fan cooled huts, rustic and in keeping with natural surroundings. Mosquito nets are provided so you may sleep with your windows open; if you listen to the night you may hear the elephants whisper, rumble, snore and even the occasional trumpet. You may watch the elephants from your room or the dedicated observation platform.
Elephant Nature Park´s Mae Taeng Valley location is naturally stunning. Combined with the company of a herd of rescued elephants you will have the chance to take numerous pictures and keep lifelong memories.
*Overnight stays are all about spending time with the herd and do not adhere to a strict schedule; the best way to make the most of your visit is to relax, watch and learn from the elephants.
Baggage / Luggage allowance : One small day pack and one carry on size bag (22" length x 14" width x 9" height or 115cm (56 x 36 x 23 cm) per person.
Returning: Chiang Mai city at around 6:30pm

Staying longer than ONE night: This can only be arranged when you are at the park if there is availability. We cannot take bookings for more than one night. For longer stays please become a park volunteer
